Statue of George IV on a granite pedestal outside the Pavilion Gardens’ North Gate, a replica of one at the head of the grand staircase in Windsor Castle. Its position is not quite right – it was moved from an original location in Old Steine Gardens, The sculptor was Sir Francis Chantrey the leading portrait sculpture of the Regency era.
