Covid Twitten Message

Twitten is an old Sussex dialect word, for small passageways leading between two buildings to courtyards or streets, or open areas behind. Its origins are not clear, it may be derived from ‘betwixt’ and ‘between’ or the German word ‘twiete’, meaning an alley/lane.
